Fun things to do in Central Florida

Central Florida has so much to offer, within two and half hours you can go from the East coast to the West coast with Springs and trail in between. You can go Kayaking down Rivers, swim with Manatees, find crystal blue springs to cool off in at a year round 72 degrees to swimming off the Suwannee river with rope swings and slides.

The Rainbow River is located in Dunnellon Florida and offers hours of fun in the sun. You can Kayak, Paddle Board or even Tube down the river. It’s about 98 miles north of Tampa and a little further from Orlando.

Bobs river place

Last weekend I discovered a fun place about an hour north of Dunnellon, Bobs River Place off the Suwannee River near Branford Fl.  $26 for a car load of 6 people and everything else if free. Rope swings for all ages, piers to dump off, water slides, walking the log, karaoke and docks to lounge on. Great day full of fun for the whole family.
